Don't know about hypocritical, but it's pretty douchey, all right. I dunno. I think it's okay to enjoy her fics, even if you don't care for her viewpoints, but I also know that knowledge this sometimes ruins your fun. Only you can decide whether or not you want to stop reading her stories.

One thing that you *could* do is to be open and frank about how you feel stances like hers are wrong, without calling her out specifically. People like her often operate under the impression that everybody thinks the way they do, and keeping silent about it enables her ability to think that. So take that ability away. If she's determined to be a homophobe, let her and everyone else know that you're not a member of that club.
