also, in the "Tangled Ever After" short where it shows their marriage (which we can assume took place some time after the movie since Flynn joked that he finally said yes to getting married after years of being asked) her hair doesn't seem to have grown at all. I guess it could be argued that she just really liked having short hair and kept it maintained and that she kept the area where gothel cut her hair trimmed short until she was 18 but...eh...

I thought she just kept it short because why not? There's no reason to keep that strand long. So yeah, I guess that's just what I assumed.

And with that I just thought Disney didn't want to change her design too much. She already had a new outfit- her wedding dress. Changing her hair may have been too much.

Really, either way it's all open to each individual's interpretation.
