Big, slow, lumbering and not phased by conventional weaponry.

The 98 Godzilla died from a few missile hits. That was bullshit. Good monster movie, but that wasn't Godzilla to me. That was a wannabe.

Godzilla is a metaphor for the horrors of nuclear weapons. He is like a hurricane. You can't stop a hurricane by hitting it with missiles. You have to let it blow through and pick up after it's gone.

98 Godzilla was taken down by numerous ammo shots, bombs that likely really hurt it, but we didn't really see that well enough, and then 12 missiles shot at it.

It went through A LOT of damage before it was taken down.

On par with a Kaiju anyway, come on now.
