Ok, so I'm in the middle of (finally) playing "Gabriel Knight Sins of the fathers" for the first time.

It's really good. Tim Curry's accent is a little trippy, and the pixel hunting can be a bit maddening at times so I would have loved a HD remake of this game, but so far so awesome.

but I now have a taste for some New Orleans media. I'll take videogames, films, books, movies, comic books, TV shows, anything. I've given "The Originals" a shot and I am woefully unimpressed, but other than that I'm open to anything. Any recommendations?
