I haven't watched this series. Is it any good?

I've kinda dropped out of watching most of the vlogs, because most of them aren't that scary, and don't really take many risks. There's only so many "college dude with his geeky friends and ten minutes of the camera pointed at the ground" before you get tired of it.

I can't testify to how scary this one is because I'm a damn coward who jumps at everything but I love the characters in this one and there's no random pointing at the ground shots. I'd say give it a try if you have the time.

Since it has a confirmed gay couple, I was going to give it a try anyway! But it's nice to know that it has good characters - nothing ruins a story faster than bad characterization.

There are a lot of vlog series on the internet based around the "slenderman" urban legend (which itself originated on the internet).

The most widely known are Marble Hornets, everymanHYBRID and TribeTwelve.

I think this is awesome, but the wording "LGBT couple" makes me laugh.

Because they're a lesbian couple, not a lesbian gay bisexual trans couple.

You don't know what their sexuality is just by looking at the photo.

I consider myself bisexual. If I kiss someone of the same sex, that doesn't make me gay/lesbian, and if I kiss someone of the opposite sex, that doesn't make me straight, so you could never base my sexuality just on a photo of a kiss. And, if I didn't know which of my friends considered themselves trans, I would be able to pick them out from anyone else just based on a photo.

I think that's why the OP when with 'LGBT couple' since it's not specifically defined in the series.

Regardless of their sexualities, they are in a lesbian relationship, but yeah, I see your point. I guess I'm just slightly annoyed by how often people say LGBT when they really only mean one of the four.

Considering how many times I've been jumped on for calling someone the wrong thing (when I would have no way one know how they identify themselves), I know I use the phrase LGBT pairing or couple so that I don't risk mislabeling someone and upsetting them.

Personally I'm of the opinion to kindly and gently correct someone if they identify me wrong but I've been harshly scolded many times for basically not being able to read the minds of others.

I have approximately less than zero interest in slenderman serieses (I am a damn coward who can't handle creepy stuff), but there's nothing odd about being happy about this, OP. Small things are important! :3
