From Game of Thrones, I've become EMBARRASSINGLY enamored of both Jamie/Brienne and Tyrion/Sansa.

Jamie is such a mess, and he and Brienne both have such over-the-top codes of honor, I feel like any love story about them should involve like...bonding via mass destruction of enemies and deathbed confessions of love and saving each other's lives via heroic magical sacrifice or some shit.

Whereas I feel like Tyrion and Sansa are both people who've been made deeply cynical by shitty things happening to them, who are nonetheless at heart total romantics. The whole 'only two good people surrounded by terrible people' thing really makes me want them to bond with each other for mutual help and comfort. Also I have a huge soft spot for the "First comes marriage then comes love" trope.

I keep thinking "WHEN THE FUCK IS GAME OF THRONES COMING BACK ON AND WHY AREN'T THE SEASONS LONGER!?" I want more or Jaime/Brienne and Tyrion/Sansa so bad. I really want Tyrion and Sansa to find happiness with each other.

I know, right? But to be fair it is a big epic expensive production, takes sometime to churn those out.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who's really rooting for Tyrion and Sansa! I've read all the fic, even the really crappy ones, because I'm so thirsty for some T/S goodness.

Seriously though, yeah, I totally agree, for exactly the reasons you cite.
