Considering we already have woobie!Sauron in the Lord of the Rings fandom, I'm pretty sure that's going to happen.

Yup. And paired with Legolas or Aragorn. Also there are quite a few rather fluffy Morgoth/Sauron fics in the Silmarillion parts of the fandom.

Wait, woobie!Sauron?

Yes. And its mostly even scarier than it sounds. I read a bunch of it one day when I was looking for amusement. A whole lot of abused by Morgoth just needs the loving of Legolas (or sometimes Aragorn). Or sometimes needs loving of Morgoth, who is also a woobie.

Woobie!Sauron is all the rage in Silm fandom where everyone is convinced Sauron is an anime girl with flowing hair in love with her boss. I hate that almost more than anything else about the fandom.
