I Need Stuff to Listen to at Work

So I got a new job. It is packaging shit and pretty boring so I can listen to my MP3 player. Anyone have any podcasts or radio shows to suggest? I enjoy (and listen to) Cabin Pressure and WTNV but other than that, I got nothing.

Also interesting music.

I love The Nerdist Podcast. Some of the funniest and most interesting interviews I've come across.

Do you know of 8tracks? There's plenty of free playlists to listen to, many of them fanmixes. (If you're interested check the tag on tumblr. I do this regularly; gives me something to listen to whilst exercising.)

I'm a big podcast junkie, so here are some of my faves.

- How Did This Get Made?: Three actors/comedians and a special guest talk about a bad/bizarre movie. It is consistently funny and listenable.

- Throwing Shade: Erin and Bryan cover news specifically about LGBT and ladies' issues. Along with just being hilarious and going off track. It's really fun every week.

- Comedy Bang Bang: This is REALLY hard to describe but it's funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJtULGvr-0s Basically it's set up like a talk show, but isn't? Real celebrities go on there, sometimes playing exaggerated versions of themselves, sometimes playing other characters.

- Overthinking It Podcast: Overthinking media. They talk about big blockbuster movies. If you like overanalyzing stuff, you'll probably like this.

Check out the various podcasts made by How Stuff Works. The voices are a little monotonous though.

I already talked up Thrilling Adventure Hour the other day, but I neglected to mention my other favorite podcast: Kevin and Ursula Eat Cheap (http://kuec.libsyn.com/). Ursula Vernon (writer and artist behind the Dragonbreath books, the Hugo-winning webcomic Digger, and the LOLWUT pear, among other things) and her now-husband Kevin Sonney (lovely person who is not quite as internet-recognizable as Ursula) eat and review prepackaged foods while going off on tangents about anything that comes into their minds, and they have delightfully weird minds. Currently at 130-some-odd episodes, updates weekly.
