They had Black Widow in IM2 before they had Hawkeye in Thor, didn't they?

Yeees, but why did they have Black Widow in the first place?

Because she wasn't somebody big-name who needed another intro movie.

Didn't Thor come put before IM2? I have no idea, heh, but i thought it was IM, Thor, IM2, Captain A, Avengers, IM3....

IM2 came out in 2010. Thor came out in 2011.

And I think IM2 had some kind of Thor teaser at the end maybe? Like an after-credits scene with Coulson? Or did I make that up?

Pretty much this. Most of the other Avenger ladies come with complicated backstories that need to be explained for an audience to follow. Secret agent with a past? No further explanation necessary. Heck, even Hawkeye--he's a sniper for a government agency. You follow? Good.

Not that there can't and won't be more, but they didn't have to work too hard to establish the characters for the audience.
