My father retired from being a teacher a few years ago and all the male teachers basically always made sure that they were never alone with any student at any time because of the pedophilia/molestation claim risks. (Many of the women did this as well but the risk didn't seem as high for them as it did for the men)

I've worked in schools, and we are straight up fucking taught to do this.
