I meant fair, not far, in regards to number 9, but I'm sure you could all figure that out. Whoops. Anyway--

3. Now you've got me wanting to read Tsubasa, too. It sounds right up my alley! And I've been reading xxxHolic lately, which is also pushing me towards checking out Tsubasa. This secret really made me smile, too :)

12. I can't stand it when people look down on others for something harmless they enjoy. Be proud of what you love!

17. I agree! Nobody looks pretty when they cry like that, so it shouldn't be all sparkles and rosepetals when it happens in manga.

\o/ Pendergast <3, and Diogenes needs to have climbed out of that volcano lightly singed.

I'm ashamed to say I haven't actually read the latest book, however. :( It's such a let down without the D-man.

\o/ I know, right? I'm holding on the firm belief that he's okay. After all, plummeting into a volcano is such an extravagant, overdramatic way to go, and if you go by movie/video game logic then he's obviously fine. Yep. That's what I'm hoping, anyway! He's such a fascinating villain, so I'll be crushed if he's never mentioned again.

Even with the general absence of the D-man, the new book is still pretty cool. The whole find-the-murderer-while-trapped-on-a-cruise-ship premise had me smiling like a mystery-loving idiot the whole way through. I wanted the ending to go another way, though, but I won't spoil anything here.
