28. I agree. Gokudera's one of my favorite characters, but he's kinda... uh, enthusiastic?

If I were Tsuna I'd run far, far away whenever Gokudera came near me. It probably wouldn't do any good, though xDD

Gokudera's definitely one of my favorites, but whenever they get into his past...it's just so incredibly sad. He's enthusiastic to the point of overdoing it, but when you take his background into account, it's really pitiable. ;__;

Gokudera would follow Tsuna to the ends of the earth- what if the tenth got injured and he wasn't around to protect him? XD

True, his personality issues do make complete sense when you consider the wide berth of extreme forms of rejection he has faced in such a short life up until this point. I mean, the boy's fourteen years old and has already had so many tragic things happen to him that most people don't experience in various lifetimes. It's really sad that he's experienced so many bad things in his past that the moment someone doesn't immediately reject him, he pledges his entire life to them. At least Tsuna is a good and accepting of other people at least, lol person.

As sad as it is, I think it's interesting to see how such a character can develop within the context of the story. At least we're starting to see that he's headed in a direction where he's willing to accept that the people he's with now aren't going toss him aside like the people from his past and that he actually has friends, for better or worse.
