Neil Gaiman is kind of the English Jhonen Vasquez when it comes to snowflake teen appeal.

man I'm not a huge Neil Gaiman fan or anything, but I still gotta think that's kind of insulting to him. I mean, Jhonen Vasquez, god damn, that's some harsh shit to say about someone.

I likened his appeal to JV, not his writing. (Although I haven't really liked any of his work besides maybe TGB)

idk i guess i was thinking more about quality of writing than anything else.

like, maybe i'm being harsh on the dude, but it seems to me that Sandman alone is way better than anything Vasquez did
