Agreed, and certainly the primitive SFX is certainly no excuse NOT to mourn. (Cf. the missing DW eps of that era, which likely had similar effects.) ~ Story transcends all.

As far as the SFX is concerned, I'm really starting to hate CG. I think the older effects were better. But. I'm. Y'know. Old. So.

They found 9 missing Who episodes - enough to finish up one of the formerly gappy serials and bring the gap in another down to one episode.

Me too! Damn, I adored those books. Now I'm terribly disappointed that it got made and I missed it. ))):

Be nice if they went ahead and did them some day. I mean, there's a trilogy (quadrology, actually, I guess) right there, and it leads into the whole Foundation thing, so there's a good bunch of material to do a long and hopefully profitable as well as well done series. I mean, from a studio's perspective, what's not to like?

Heh. I always thought that Lije looked like Nicolas Cage on this cover...

--Also, I was just looking up Peter Cushing on IMDB and found out they also did "The Naked Sun." Wiped that one too, the bastards. Now I'm really ticked off and bitter about it. Thanks, Beeb.>:(
