It was great. A lot better than Thor 1. Keep in mind that it is just a popcorn flick but it was still really fun.

Also I don't think hemsworth gets enough love for being thor. He was excellent!

I don't like Loki so I have to know: does he outshine Thor in this?

He has wayyyy less screen time but his scenes with thor were probably the best and some of the funniest)in the movie. He didn't outshine Thor for me but I really love thor so i'm probably not the best judge.

Heimdall and frigga get some awesome scenes though, if that helps make up your mind. Also the romance between jane and thor is better handled too.

Yay, this is exciting; I really loved Thor 1 as a fun popcorn flick, so I'm excited for more of that.

I'm going to see it on Saturday so it's good to know that it's a fun popcorn flick.

Ugh man Hemsworth really doesn't, Loki may be my favourite by a smidgen(and that's because I'm fond of villains in general) but I love Thor just as much and I feel really sad when I see how little love he seems to get. I also don't like the 'Team Loki' 'Team Thor' BS that interviewers have been peddling during the run up to this film, it's stupid and kind of rude tbh.

Most the Thor stuff on my tumblr dash is all Loki and Hiddles, so a part of me is really looking forward to the movie and Thor and Loki's relationship, and a part of me is not looking forward to Thor being ignored again.

Either way I'm glad to hear it was fun; I have a feeling I'm going to love it.

I've luckily had an equal split between Thor and Loki on my dash, but I follow someone who is a big Thor fan and she's been reblogging a lot to do with him(but I agree that a lot of stuff is skewed towards Loki/Hiddles). From what I've seen on tumblr I've surmised that the plot for Thor 2 is: Norse bros road-tripping across space, there may also be dark elves.

I'm trying not to get too excited about it and kind of failing at it. Ha, oops.

I've been staying out of the tag so thankfully I haven't ran across any spoilers, but Norse bros road-tripping across space is a BIT less epic than what I had in mind (although still extremely amusing). Let's hope the road-tripping is there but part of a bigger plot! LOL.

Anyway, after the film I think I'll try to find some Thor fans to follow; I like Loki, but...it's too much and I'm getting frustrated.

Yeaaaaaaa, I hope we can both see it soon! Gonna go ASAP.

I've not had any bad spoilers come up, to the extent that while I may have seen some things I don't actually know the overall plot or anything, so it's all good. I read it that way purely for amusement, I imagine that there will be more to it than that. :P

As a Loki fan you have my full sympathies, I mean I really like Loki and even I'm seeing too much of just him, I love Thor just as much tbh and it is frustrating to see fandom focus on only one of them. They're both fantastic! They both work off of each other, and really Loki would be no-where near as much fun(for me) without Thor.

Seeing it this Saturday, weeeeeeeeeee. :D

Ahhh, that's good! Idk about you but I hate spoilers for this kind of thing; certain tv shows and movies I don't mind spoilers for, but I'd like to be surprised by this.

Yea, I do too. I walked out of Thor loving Thor AND Loki, but the fandom makes it hard sometimes; they overdo it. And they ARE better together! They have such an interesting, complex relationship; idk why anyone would want to ignore it. (Or ignore poor Thor when Loki isn't involved. Yet... People like what they like.)

I'm starting to think I should stay off tumblr until I see it because we still have over a week till it opens. You're so lucky! HAVE FUN!

I can handle a few spoilers, small things like what is shown in trailers(and it's mostly been bits and pieces from the trailers come up), but anything big like what the villains does, any deaths, that kind of thing I do not want to know. I did have to skip over a few spoilery text posts(and most of them were under cuts anyway) today tho as it's out in Europe.

It really does, it's why I tend to just stay to the fic side of things and follow a few select people for my Thor and Loki needs. Complex and painful and omgijustwanttosmashtheirheadstogetherandgetthemtomakeup-whoamikidding?getlokitostopbeingalittleshit.(He needs hugs, lots of hugs, I would like to hug him(in a totally platonic way I swear)...But as you've said people are free to like who they like)

Hopefully the spoilers wont be so bad, but you can never tell. I'm certainly not going to come here on Sat evening and be like HERE'S WHAT HAPPENED IN THOR GUYS.

I am looking most forward to it~ ~~I'm going to be excitable until Sat evening and my boyfriend is going to be dealing with me, feel sorry for him, lol.~~

The big question is.

Does Loki get to wear a Kirby helm?

Because, by the rule of Kirby and the first movie which had a production design that worshiped Kirby, the bigger the hat, the bigger badass you are.
