I just want to know how the fuck philip came back to life. They didn't even handwave it properly. One episode he was dead and the next he was there with no explanation.

FFS the show exists entirely on flashbacks. They'll be covering Philip's rescue when they return to Mulan and Aurora's story. I'm sick of people using this as any kind of argument.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Phillip being alive right now makes NO sense at all and is way too big of a plot point for people to just accept that "it'll be covered in the flashbacks." Yeah, no. Especially with someone else's comment that it IS super annoying that some character with like ten seconds' screen time is in the way of a relationship that was much more prominent last season. Just cause he has a dick. It's infuriating.

lol, my mom and I were both extremely confused by that and kept yelling, "HOW IS HE ALIVE?!" I had to remind her who he even was.
