I just bought The Wolf Among Us and I adored the first episode. It depends a lot on if you liked The Walking Dead, though. It has a different tone and feel, but the gameplay is very much The Walking Dead.

Speaking of, you really ought to play/buy The Walking Dead if you haven't yet. It's on sale and it was an incredible experience to play.

Kaijinscendre mentioned LIMBO and yes do that. It's so atmospheric and nice.

Dead Pixels is not the BEST, but it's only $1 and it's pretty fun, so.

Monaco's fun if you want to play with friends or play online. Solo it's not that great. But it's basically a top down heist game that is pretty fun.

Sleeping Dogs is good if you like open world stuff. People have described it as the type of story of GTA and the gameplay of the Arkham Asylum/City games. Which is pretty accurate. But it's a lot of fun, especially for this price.

If you haven't played Bioshock yet, go play it. I still haven't finished it but it's a really great game.

I don't play Don't Starve as much as I should, but it's a pretty fun/interesting game focused on survival. Kind of minecraft-y in that it's randomly generated worlds, and you have to survive off the stuff you find.

Hotline Miami is REALLY violent and pretty hard, but it's a really interesting game. It's combat based, but more like every room is a puzzle you have to figure out.

But yeah, if you had only one game to buy, I'd pick The Walking Dead, and if you liked that pick up The Wolf Among Us in another Steam sale or full price.

Hotline Miami is a fucking weird, amazing, ridiculous game, and it has a fantastic soundtrack.
