I already mentioned above that I don't think hemsworth and thor get enough love, probably because fandoms love for loki overpowers everything.

Who are some of your favourite characters who are overlooked in fandom?

Another of mine is Ted from HIMYM. Sure he can be really annoying but he is the lynch pin of the show and Randor does some really excellent drama scenes in the emotional episodes.

I dunno if DS9 has much of a fandom, but what's there is mostly Bashir/Garak (which is cool because I ship it). But, I really, really, really love Quark and I'm pretty sure most people like him, but I just wish there were more Quark stuff in the fandom because he's awesome.

I was very disappointed to find out that there weren't more fics of Quark and Odo. (I don't ship it, but they're totally my broTP on that show.)

I absolutely adore both Hemsworth's Thor AND Ted!

One that comes to mind is Joaquin Phoenix's role in Gladiator (I know he does get a lot of kudos for it but he's almost always ignored in favor of Russell Crowe. I think that's a crying shame because HOLY SHIT did Phoenix give the most powerful performance I've ever seen. The speech about virtues always makes me cry.)

There are a lot of 2nd and 3rd-stringers in the DCU (some of them erased from existence by New52) that deserve a lot more than what they get. I still never got over what they did to Ted Kord (though Jaime Reyes is admittedly a wonderful replacement.)

Definitely echoing Thor because he really doesn't get enough love.

Also Stacker Pentecost from Pacific Rim, or at least he never seemed to get much love when I was lurking about in the fandom.

I 100% agree on Thor; Loki is a fascinating character and Hiddles does a good job, but Thor (and Hemsworth) should have WAY more of a presence in the fandom. As is the fandom holds little for me because of the focus on Loki; I can't overlook it, no matter my feelings on him.

And in Assassin's Creed fandom, I don't think Connor gets enough love. It upsets me more than it should how much parts of the fanbase dislike him. (Especially when reading AC4 previews; there was lots of, "Edward is a fun loving ladies man, the series is back where it belongs" shit.

Thor is many kinds of wonderful and I love him much more than Loki (and Tony).

In Young Justice, Kaldur'ahm. His princeliness gets taken for granted so much in canon and in fandom both that it was even lampshaded on the show. Poor thing is buried under mountains of Batfamily.

I have only recently discovered a love for Chris Hemsworth. He didn't do much for me as Thor, but then I watched Rush... and now I think I'm kinda crushing on him.

I don't even get the love for Loki. He wasn't particularly complex or interesting. He was basically just a regular villain with generic crap thrown into his childhood to explain it a little, but we've all seen it before. I found him boring as a bad guy.

Thor wasn't much more complex but I did like him and his story was at least amusing. Plus he's Chris Hemsworth and nice to look at and listen to. Those Hemsworth brothers... damn.

I always get stars in my eyes whenever I get a glimpse of Chris Hemsworth's Thor. He's just, sigh. The best.
