the recent AO3 survey would disagree with you. The majority of slash writers are queer women.

correct me if i'm wrong here but "queer girl" and "guy-liking girl" are not mutually exclusive categories afaik

Do you mean the "survey" that someone ran through their tumblr, that was seen primarily by their tumblr followers or people who follow their followers and saw it reblogged? The one that completely lacked a random representative sample due to its methodology and thus provides no actual useful data on the makeup of AO3 users? That one?
