I know, that's why I wrote that both sides are doing it. Or maybe I'm just weird and I'm the only person who reads smut in order to get off, while other people read it and write it purely for literary values.

Literary values seems like a really weird way to justify reading smut to me.

It feels like you're saying you look at drawn porn* for artistic merit. I mean there's sometimes something there, but it's usually a bad place to look.
