(Anonymous) 2013-11-01 04:40 am (UTC)(link)I think it's something that could work if handled really really well but I'm not sure I trust Bunny to handle it because of the hugbox of Tumblr. My husband keeps saying that David won't let her destroy the band over it but I'm not sure, especially with how much volume people agree with her on anything and crush any dissenters. I'm trying to remain hopeful but the half-assed looking make-ups aren't helping.

(Anonymous) 2013-11-01 04:51 am (UTC)(link)As for the vocal part, once someone is past puberty (and thus past the chance to do puberty blockers), changing the voice (permanently) with hormones is impossible; and while there is a surgery that can be done to make a trans woman's vocal range higher, Bunny has said that she's terrified of surgery, so on that end, it should be fine?

(Anonymous) 2013-11-01 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)I remember Heather Alexander. I loved their music, but after transitioning, I couldn't really listen to the new stuff anymore because it was so strange hearing the exact same inflection and style of singing, only with a voice that didn't really sound like the old voice had. It was basically uncanny valley - voice edition.
