Yeah it seems as a woman you can't really win there. Either you get shit for being a "casual" or you get shit for pretending to be "elite"

Most of the time I just want to tell them to shove it I could probably kick their asses in most games. And here why don't you try this professor layton puzzle and see how much of an idiot you are.

Though there are a couple of great workers there but they never seem to be around when I'm buying.

I actually owned up to buying the Disney Universe Jack Skellington for me...and yeah that was just ugh. If I want to play stupid Disney games I can you jackass.

/end rant

lol I get carried away when it comes to gamestop it seems

I think it's also amazing how gamestop seems to be internationally awful like that. I also noticed it really depends on the store because often, the people working in a store influence each other and if one has good customer skills, the other will sometimes adapt to it.
In some stores though, it's also amazing how often they think they can sell you all kinds of bullshit because you're just a girl and girls don't know anything about technical stuff and games, right?
Though I have to say, I have encountered female staff as well who gave me the "elitist or baby" treatment. That was especially infuriating.

I used to visit one and the guy there tried pressuring me into buying a discount card, which was fine I get you're supposed ask dumb stuff like that, but he wouldn't let the issue go after I already told him I wasn't interested a few times.

My interest in video games has kind of waned though, so I don't really buy games all that much. I'd probably just shop online though.
