The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. They were good, I enjoyed them (mostly - got pretty sick of HP by the end of the series), but I don't think they are the BEST THING EVER OMG or anything.

I enjoyed the books. I don't think they're crap, I just don't think they're as super fantastic as the internet would like me to think.

I enjoyed reading Harry Potter. I thought it was a good fantasy series, but I've read lots of good fantasy series. I even thought it was a very good fantasy series. I've read several very good fantasy series. It wasn't an amazing fantasy series.

I think the thing that made Harry Potter so popular is that it was a highly accessible (and very good) fantasy series for people who weren't already fans of the genre. I already was, so... yes, good, but not literally the best one I've read.
