Dude, even if people told OP they suck it doesn't mean OP can't build up their own writing confidence enough so that those hate comments don't make them feel like shit for days

Like, getting hate is not fun and they don't have to play if they're not having a good time, but it shouldn't put their self-esteem on the line.

It doesn't make any sense to me how anyone can say how someone should or shouldn't feel about something. I personally wouldn't understand how it can affect someone's self-esteem, but at least I realize that I don't need to understand. People are different. Get over it.

Hmm. Yes. "I'm going to feel sad anyways so I may as well not even try to build myself up so I can enjoy myself without having to depend on other people's opinion of my work" is such terrible advice.
