Re: bad roommates thread

I've had some roommates with some ordinary bad habits like leaving out laundry, not cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen, etc. but the one who really takes the cake has to be the first roommate I ever had as a college freshman in the dorms.

She seemed very normal at first, very bubbly and friendly person who seemed easy to get along with and kept things very neat. For the first semester or so we were good friends, then she suddenly started getting very distant with me and barely spoke to me at all.

This is not the weird part.

The weird part is the time we were both sitting at our desks, and I heard her cracking up at whatever she was looking at on her computer. I glanced over my shoulder and saw that she was watching a video with headphones. And the video was the inside of my food drawer. Like, yep, there was my cup of ramen, right there on her screen, and for some reason it was making her laugh really hard.

I had no idea what to do with that and went and got the RA - not that she had any idea what the hell to do with it either. With the RA I confronted my roommate and she just sort of giggled and said "Oh, well, I just like to make videos sometimes."

What kind of an explanation is that??

(we are, obviously, not friends anymore. I still don't really understand what happened there.... what a bizarre person.)

I would feel oddly violated. Like, that's my food drawer. Take a video of your own food.

That's so odd and hilarious.
