Not to sound like a self-help book but it's not interpersonal relationships that make you happy, it's sharing some of yourself with people who care, and who you care about. That usually requires you to know yourself and like yourself, too - so that you think you're worth being cared about. You need to take a bit of that journey with yourself so you can share it with others.
