Portraying Aerith as a saintly, naive, shy, clueless girl is so OOC. And unfortunately, Zack/Aerith shippers are not the only ones that do it. I love Clerith but this tends to happen in that fandom too.

Which is a shame. As somebody pointed out above, Aerith trollish and mischievous personality was one of the best things about her.
