All of the fanboyism, all of the misogyny, all of the male bullshit is really starting to affect my interactions with men in real life. I'm genuinely worried I'm going to, you know, take action.

I don't want to go to prison.

Step away from the internet for awhile.

You need some time away from misogyny and people talking about misogyny. Sure, it's hard to avoid, since it's everywhere, but as someone who lived in an all-women house for a while with limits on how much dude stuff around, it did wonders for my ability to get back into wider society without wanting to explode in rage. Not that you need to do that, but just.. take a break. From fandom if that's where you're seeing most of the coalface of misogyny. Too much rage only hurts you.

If you have a tumblr, and you follow people who post a lot of stuff about shitty sexism that's happening in the world - blacklist it, or unfollow, or spend less time on tumblr.

I stopped following a lot of those blogs - not because I disagree that sexism is a real issue - but because there's only so much Issues I can take before I start to feel like the world is a terrible place. I encounter enough of that bullshit IRL without it sitting there online, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Read about fun things, do a hobby, anything that gets your mind off it.
