Honestly, I'd prefer a roommate like you than a passive aggressive one who kept it all in, never told me directly that they had a problem with what I was doing, and preferred to bitch about me behind my back instead. I respond better to blunt honesty like yours where I can work on what to do and never fuck up in that manner again. You know, rather than some nutcase who keeps it all in and goes to drastic measures to "solve the problem" without even confronting me about an issue. Passive aggressive people like that make me pissy as fuck because I always get blindsided by their minor laundry list of complaints and think to myself, "This could have been resolved ages ago if your dumb ass bothered to talk to me about it."

So if it makes you feel better, there are people out there who prefer roommates like you than other ones.

Man, me, too. I hate it when something's wrong but the other person won't say, won't do anything, just kind of hints around in this super-vague manner that conveys *nothing*.

Best to just say what needs to be said.
