That's how I read it. Usually OP doesn't care about looks, but Uma!Ivy could be as bland as a Twilight character and OP wouldn't give a damn because GORGEOUS!, PERFECT!, etc.

Yeah it doesn't make any sense - and the "physical appearance doesn't matter to me at all" comes off as kind of smug for someone who can write more about the relative perfection of one actress than I can anyone I've ever had sex with. I guess that's why it's a secret.

I think she has very polarising features. I personally don't much like the way she looks, but I thought the same about Cillian Murphy until something clicked in my brain and now I find him really attractive, so. I can understand that what doesn't float my boat can ignite the polar opposite reaction in someone else. She's certainly striking.

Uma Thurman has this strange effect where in photographs she appears as "above average attractive," but then in motion, she becomes the most stunningly beautiful woman. It was years ago that after I walked out of The Producers I turned to the people I went to see the movie with and said, "I had no idea Uma Thurman was THAT beautiful." and they all agreed with me.

I totally agree. When I saw her as Ivy, I instantly had a crush on her, and still have and support her in her career. She's sometimes just breathtaking.
