I found scott unbearably stupid in season 1 but he really grew on me in season 2, so i can understand how people can not like him.
The fact that some in the TW fandom immediately jump to "you're a racist" if you don't like him just seems ridiculous. Dislike whoever you want to dislike OP.

IA. His character seemed written "dumb" for narrative-comedic purposes, but I'm glad to hear S2 will have a more intelligent Scott; it doesn't really work if Stiles is constantly exasperatedly berating Scott in that kind of bromancey way. Gets old after a bit.
