i question why i read QC myself, since it's mostly a bunch of sameface hipster fucks with mostly sub-CBS-level sitcom humor and jeph is a massive cringe-worthy tool

and the only answer i can come up with is because i've been reading it since like 2006 and so many of my actual favourite webcomics have ended and i'm just holding on to this one 'cuz it's the last one from that era

I'm curious too... I've always thought QC was alright and I do read it regularly, but I avoid Jeph's blogs and personal sites because there's always been something about his attitude that I find annoying, didn't know if it was a common sentiment. I think that it's that he's an attention whore? He gives off that vibe so much to me, idk

A few years ago I saw this saga on his LJ where a bunch of his fans were dogpiling on someone who didn't like his work (I can't remember the details, sorry). Instead of telling them to stop he was just kind of egging them on and it seemed like very unprofessional and jerky behavior.
