Yeah that's probably true, but undoing what she eventually became was worse. It's like some smoke and mirrors medieval alchemist actually managed to create real gold during his conact then turned the gold into a cat turd on purpose. Oracle was really the one and only thing DC had over Marvel. They almost got some of that back with the Batwoman wedding, but we know how that worked out.
