When I see "jfc" I have taught myself to read it as "jiminy fucking cricket" because when I read it as what it REALLY means my OCD goes haywire and I feel really horrible and anxious because certain words still effect me

Does anybody else have any embarrassingly dorky confessions to admit? If not I'll just hide in my corner of humiliation here.

I still know how to do the hare hare yukai.

No one must ever know.

Whenever I'm flying on a plane and there's a ton of turbulence and I get irrationally frightened that the plane is going to crash - which is something that happens to me - I recite the Litany Against Fear from Dune to calm myself down.

The Litany Against Fear is both awesome and effective.

If I'm constipated, I squat on the toilet like L from Death Note. It really, really helps, and I recommend this method to all.

Whenever I drink out of the carton, I sit on the floor so the neighbors don't see me through the kitchen window. I live alone.

I give names to all my electronics? (Mostly fandom related ones.)

Because I do, but then again I don't find this embarrassing. It's fun!

I name my electronics after Osamu Tezuka characters!

I do this too. All fandom-related names :)

I do this too! Nice to know I'm not the only one that does. (Most are fandom related except Max my pink 3ds XL. Who is also a he in my mind)

I name my computers (current one is Titan.)

I also named my old mp3 player The Tank, 'cuz it had a back made of metal and was effectively indestructible save for a design fault in the headphone jack :|

I talk to the characters when I'm watching tv on my computer. I talk to them a LOT.

Also, I get really really super into movies; my friends/family arrange seating so that the people who like it are close to me and the people who hate it are far away. (my brother likes it; he likes to sit between me and a mutual friend and cackle at us as we get into it. When we both wailed "NOOOOO NOT BUMBLEBEE!!" at that part of Transformers he almost had a conniption fit.)

It's too embarrassing to watch some shows without my headphones; I don't really want my roommate knowing what I'm into.

The only problem is that I'm used to this and I feel embarrassed when my computer blurts out stuff to the ether and I'm the only one to hear it!

Whenever I want to use a username other than "dethtoll" when signing up for something, either for anonymity reasons or... well, usually for anonymity reasons, I exclusively use Duke Nukem 3D MIDI filenames.
