he never gets any conflict.The entire show seems set up, I mean I guess because he is the lead, the make him succeed no matter what or no matter what contortions they have to put the other characters through.

They have done a terrible job of tell not show with this character. I hope season four / 3B I guess gives him some actual conflict to work with. I mean his senses with stiles and his mum can be great.

This is my major problem with Scott. No conflict or learning, he just wins every day. And I think he makes a lot of bad decisions, but instead of writing it out that he's learning and becoming a better person (like what a true hero would be like imo) he just...wins. And what mistakes or bad decisions he makes are either ignored or shown as not being bad - Scott is a perfect True Alpha without showing any of the work or characteristics to getting to that point.

And it's not just with Scott, the entire show is awful at show/not tell but it really stands out with Scott because he's the lead and because they've tried to push the whole True Alpha thing.
