My mom bought me the whole series of Fawlty Towers on DVD for my birthday on the assumption that since I like a lot of modern British television, I'd like that too. She and my dad loved it. I thought it was okay. I really couldn't get what the fuss was about.

(I do enjoy Monty Python, I just couldn't get into FT)
