I haven't yet had the opportunity to play any of the Rune Factory games but I'm 100% with you on having more older love interests. In Harvest moon (which I've heard Rue Factory is very similar to so kinda sort related?) it feels like the bachelors/bachelorettes are getting younger and prettier which, I don't have a problem with young pretty love interests but when EVERYONE looks like that it's boring, yknow?

I think Rune Factory is a spin-off, since both are from Natsume.

I don't remember much of an age difference between the PC and marriage candidates, unless you count the ones that weren't human (and Lumina, that was uncomfortable) but the art style seems to have gotten more cutesy, which makes everyone, look really young unless they're drawn "old." It's weird.

Completely agree on older marriage candidates though. Some of the newer ones stray into loli/shota territory and it's hard to look at.

I've heard it described as Harvest Moon with dungeon crawling, haha. I definitely want to give it a try sometime.

yeah, I don't mind it so much in some games - it looks alright in DS/DS cute - even if it feels a bit strange to me that the bachelorettes all mostly look young, whereas the bachelors look significantly more varied

augh I know right. Pierre looks like a 8 year old; I don't know how anyone could romance him without feeling like a huge creep :I
