On the way to Youmacon last week, I stopped to get some last-minute stuff at a store along the route, having forgotten it was the day after Halloween and there would be clearance stuff. I saw something and... picked it up on a whim.

Therefore this afternoon, I dressed one of my bunnies up as a tiger and took pictures of him. Userpic is pretty accurate as to his reaction.

So there's a post about people saying they hated Umbridge especially in scenes where she was screwing people over. Someone makes a remark that implies that the hate of Umbridge has to do with her being a woman. basically "more people hate Umbridge because sexism.

But the response to their comment is GLORIOUS. Two people write a huge essay about how people hate Umbridge because she's a more realistic form of evil that people run into every day (more readers of HP are more likely to deal with a bigoted bureaucrat then a psychopathic cult leader Hitler in day to day life. ) and because she not only tortured and abused but also gaslighted (telling her victims it was their fault.) She was also totally willing to send muggleborns of to a fate worse than death just for being muggleborn. Most people hate her CHARACTER, they don't hate her because she's a woman and did those things.

I finally watched Star Trek: Into Darkness yesterday and there's a part where Khan is talking and his face looked kind of weird, and I paused it and his face was exactly like the :> emote. It made me laugh so hard I got a headache, and I still keep thinking about it and snorting.

I need a screencap of this. I think I remember what you are talking about.

After years of my mother telling me, "Don't lick that knife!" and "Don't put that knife in your mouth!" I finally cut myself. It was harmless but I got a kick out of it; she was right. It took many years, but she proved to be right!

Also, today while playing Assassin's of the Caribbean and boarding a ship, one of the soldiers I shot floated into the air and stayed there. Oh, glitches.

I like her music but I'd never watched any interviews with her or anything but now I think she's great. Also her laugh is fantastic.

One of the bosses had her dog in the office just for a bit - a bit, fat, lazy drooly bulldog who isn't exactly known for movement or energy. Cute as heck though. For some reason (I dunno if he got spooked) he randomly totally bolted down the hallway at a high speed I didn't even know he could move at. I had to do a double take. Nothing bad, but random and hilarious.
