yeahhhh, as a psych student, and someone who's experienced mental illness personally - yeah, I did find the old "psychiatric asylum" gag cringey in a bad way.

but the I've heard the "lol crazy people" jokes so many times that it doesn't even make me mad any more. it's just "oh, this shit again, whatever." (hell, i used to make those jokes about MYSELF during the worst of it, as a way of making light of the situation.)

i am interested, though - what about the movie did you think was sexist? (i didn't like the way they killed off freyja.)
