I'll admit it, the only name there I recognize is Dworkin, and I only know her because she was linked to the anti-pornography movement. (Another trait that probably identifies me: I write porn for both male and female readers.) I have heard of Atheists for Jesus, though!

Wrong Dworkin. Which highlights what I think is the whopping problem of media bias in talking about atheism. Richard Dawkins tweets 160 characters of stupid, it sparks a dozen op-eds of criticism which, in turn, are syndicated and reblogged to the top of the news page. Ronald Dworkin, a legal philosopher, publishes a 193 page book about non-theistic religion, it gets a single review in New Republic.

Multiple atheist charities respond to the Oklahoma Tornadoes, and Time not only fails to interview any of them, it runs a feature arguing that they didn't exist. (It's author, Joe Klein then proceeds to double down on stupid announcing he's writing a book about the importance of civil religion.) FOX feeds the conflict narrative with their religious talking-head panel anchored by professional trolls Bill Donohue and David Silverman. Of course, they insult each other, which gives FOX plenty of free publicity.

The point is there's a lot of interfaith dialogue going on involving atheists, and it's not that hard to find.
