I got one with the pokewalker and it's awesome. The pokewalker is a little pedometer (it measures how many steps you take every day) In the pokewalker itself you can find special items and pokemon based on how many steps you take. You keep one of your pokemon in the pokewalker and it gains experience based on how many steps you take so when you move it back to the game (it works through infrared technology) it gains levels without really doing any battles.
