How do you know they do? And if it is a case of their roommate sharing then the OP is still being pretty shitty.

I don't know that they do. Which is why I don't make judgment calls about the permission of using someone's equipment, just the skeeviness in how it's used.

My room mate uses my spare computer to watch video game streams all day long. I personally hate video game streams, but, as long as she's not pushing it in my face, I don't care what she's doing with the laptop. It's not shitty, it's just kind of funny in a "Oh if they only knew!" kind of way, but no harm's being done. It's not like they're infecting the computer with the evil gay that will spread or anything, plus they're deleting their history so that their roomie won't stumble across it. Works for me!
