If you could have a team of, say, three fictional critters following you around and protecting you, who would they be? Don't necessarily have to be Pokemon.

Gatomon, Meowth and Red XIII.

Regular animals (that I guess act like pokemon?) - Black panther, Megalneusaurus, pterodactyl

Since I just realized you specified fictional, I guess three unicorns.

Frankensteins, Pikachus and Dinosaurs.

I'm kidding. In this movie I watched last night, a dude listed those three as fictional critters and it's still cracking me up. That was a good movie.

Mew, Draco (from Dragonheart, not from Harry Potter), and motherfucking Falcor.

I don't know about fictional but I'd love to have a few crows hanging out with me. Crows <3

I want the cat from Russian (Ural, specifically) folk tales! P. Bazhov described it in The Cat's Ears. It is essentially a giant cat who lives underground so that, when it wants to show itself to people, only its ears are visible in the form of two blue flames on the surface. In Bazhov's story, it saved a girl by guiding her towards her village and scaring a pack of wolves away. How awesome is that?

A talking wolf from Narnia and one of the unicorns from The Last Unicorn would be good, too.

A Charizard, Red-Eyes Black Dragon and a varren.

For protection

- One of the twipires (yeah, the books suck, but the twipires themselves would be good at protecting people, I think)
- A dragon, maybe one of the ones from the Bruce Coville books? Those were cool.
- A talking lion

If it was just for fun, then
- A dragon
- One of the cats from the Enchanted Forest Chronicles
- Maybe Cringer from He-Man? Or some Shiki from Ghost Hunt. A ghost friend might be fun, as long as they were happy being a ghost, and not stuck against their will. :(

Also, if cats with magical powers are a thing, I'd love to have those too. I'd pretend to be a witch or something, but it's really just my cats.

To all of you saying dragons and stuff, how the heck would you function irl? I mean, go to school, work, whatever? Granted, if you had a pet dragon, you could like... join a circus or... own a small island. idk. and what would you feed it? I was imagining this somehow fitting in with my real life lol

Um, the Disreputable Dog from Lirael, bulbasaur, and a dragon.

Calcifer - Howl's moving castle (because, fire demon and something to warm my hands)

T-chan - petshop of horrors (albeit I prefer him not eating me)
Mini Dolyak - Guild wars 2 (I love these)

Peaceful tame dragons! Just any three. Although perhaps smaller ones, so they'd be easier to care for. Maybe fire lizards instead.

I'd like an Ampharos, a Wooper, and a daemon from the His Dark Materials universe. My reasoning for the last one is kind of weird, I guess! I'd probably listen to myself and take my own advice more often if it didn't actually come from me--I'd probably take better advice from, I dunno, a talking soul rabbit or something. It would still be part of me, but if it weren't in my own brain, I'd probably be able to accept its help :P If that makes sense!
