Finally saw Thor, can now browse tumblr again safely. I got spoilers blacklisted like crazy, does not help.

What are some things you blacklist but people NEVER tag.

I don't blacklist anything, but I should really blacklist Face Off when it comes back on. This dude I follow posts spoilers without tagging them right after the episode airs so I always know who is going home before I get to watch the episode.

Sherlock and SPN. They will post it with tags to get attention and then reblog themselves without tags so anyone who blacklisted it sees it, too. It's like they can't fathom that some people just do not like those shows.

I don't blacklist anything, because there's a BNF in the Law & Order fandom who never tags spoilers so I'd end up seeing them whether I blacklisted them or not. I stopped following her and most of the main fandom tags, but I still see them occasionally and it really annoys me.

Goddamn Hetalia. Its fans seem to be allergic to tagging, and I just don't want to see that stuff on my dash

Also, dildos. Normally I don't mind nsfw stuff, but I just don't care about dildos inspired by Hawkeye or the Hulk or whatever.

I hate it that people do not tag things I want to find :/ Like, fanart on AO3. I always just go through all the works in the fanart tag (regardless of fandom), but so much of it isn't tagged!

And stories that have nothing but character tags. How am I supposed to know if it's horrible OTT crack or a hearwarming sappy one shot?

I don't blacklist anything and thankfully the majority of people I follow do tag, but I've been mostly staying off tumblr until I see Thor regardless. I know it's on my dash, and I don't want to risk running into it. :(

Good choice. People I follow do tag it and I thought about staying away until I see Thor 2 (because I haven't bothered to figure out how to filter yet), but the lure of Tom Hiddleston swayed me back.

The downside is that I just saw a few spoiler gifs from Thor 2 and was spoiled on the fate of two fairly major characters. Oh well.

I'm so relieved I wasn't spoiled for Korra last night. Someone was talking about it on twitter and then I saw a gifset (which was when I remembered to watch it), but neither of those things were related to the two biggest moments for me.

Tumblr savior isn't enabled right now for some technical reason I haven't bothered to fix, but I gave up on people not tagging their Pokemon stuff. It's not like I'll be able to get XY anytime soon though so I wouldn't have expected people to tag months later, but really right when it comes out? Really?

I blacklist usernames instead of topics, because there's certain people in my favorite tags who have opinions that piss me off on certain characters and concepts, but I imagine it would apply to any people I follow who refuse to tag their shit (which I haven't noticed so far). I've got a friend who hasn't played Dragon Age, but even before I found that out, I still tagged all my posts, so she never had to de-follow me to avoid spoilers.

I remember when Young Justice and Green Lantern were airing, spoilers for one show would show up in the other show's tag. I was like, fucking seriously, people.

Use Tumblr Savior. It can blacklist words and phrases that are in any part of the post, not just the tags.
