Yea, Nightvale being Nightvale you would probably be lucky to only grow tentacles, but not every character has to have some unusual distinguishing trait.

ayrt also I can't imagine Cecil not mentioning it like "We've been receiving several calls and I guess we can't keep this under the rug much longer--I do have tentacles." or "Thanks to all my listeners for the compliments on my tentacles."

I agree, if Cecil had tentacles he would mention it somehow. He would probably be proud of them too, or at least take it in complete stride, but I think we would hear about it.
