(Anonymous) 2013-11-10 09:03 am (UTC)(link)i don't want a female character that was originally written to be a male character and then changed to be a girl to fulfill the "token female character" role. that's lazy as hell on the part of the writers and reads as an afterthought, like they didn't realize until they were almost done that they should probably put a female character or two into the story. if they want to have a female character in the show, why can't they just include that female character in the story from the start? i'd rather have no female characters at all than one who was obviously just shoved in for representation.
