It's a shortening of Hikikomori. It's basically a Japanese term for shut-in.

I'm the opposite

Extroverted but all my friends don't live within traveling distance so we meet up online at the computer is constantly where I am

Being shut in alone with nobody to talk to or do anything with would be the worst thing ever for me, I can't handle not talking to somebody for long periods of time without getting pace-the-room restless, but staying at home with everybody there and talking or playing games together is fine because that's the company i enjoy. Dunno what that makes me
