I just wanna know what they're generally about so I know if they're my kind of thing, but I'm scared I'll run across spoilers if I just google them. What kind of a setting is it? Who are the main characters and what are they like? Is it classic high fantasy or what kind of a genre?

It's like... fantasy-romance? Tech level is, mm, pre-Industrial, but there's a lot of magic and you get some magic-replacements for things. Concept is a matriarchal world because women have the stronger magic (on average; several of the main characters are men at the top end of the power spectrum). The plot centers around a prophesied-savior type, capital-W 'Witch', who'll restore the true way of life that's been corrupted by the power-hungry yadda yadda.
