We watched it again this weekend. Our whole family likes it. I haven't gone looking for fic, though. I think it's wrong when it's for my kid's shows. :)

The movie is excellent--I'd even call it unique, because although it's clearly a hero's journey story, it goes about it in a fun and interesting way. Also, the visuals. THE VISUALS. Sandman and his things alone are more than worth the price of admission (or renting, or whatever.)

Avoid the fandom unless you ship something, though.
