I don't personally care for mpreg, but the common "OMG IT'S NOT POSSIBLE" excuse doesn't really make sense, at least for fandoms where other impossible shit is going on all the time.

Well, I'm not a fan of mpreg either, but I respect other people's rights to like it. However, let's take FMA's Roy/Ed fandom. Mpreg is like an epidemic. Just take a look at one of the comms. @_@

Lots of impossible shit goes on in that series, but I still don't think that you can justify mpreg in that universe. (South Park on the other hand...)

...so the point of this comment was, I WISH I COULD IGNORE IT, BUT IT'S TAKEN OVER THE FANDOM, AND IS THERE A WAY TO SAY OMFGDONOTWANT TO SOMETHING THAT APPEARS ON YOUR FLIST LIKE 5 TIMES A WEEK?!?!

I mean, if a few people liked it, FINE, it's their whimsy. But like it shows up on my flist at least once a week. =_= I would just defriend the comm but I don't want to be a blasphemous traitor to one of my ships. ;_;

Gngh. See, I like Mpreg. Yeah I do. But holy, I'm not going to go around and put out my stories online and all that. They're cracky, too, because that's what Mpreg is. D: Gngh, your poor brain; once a week is horrible.

I like it in a cracky way. 8DD I mean, I do have strangely fun dreams where there is mpreg and it's epic and makes absolutely no sense when I wake up --

But my head is just screwed up. I also have dreams where there's a giant ape who wants to eat Goku and the rest of the ZTeam are trying to signal for help to Kaiba in a Lugia plane. Trustory.

The thing that really bothers me is that these fics are like "serious" fics. I love writing crack fics, but that's just. Terrible. ;_; DO NOT WANT.

What's one idea I had; superheros, uke was a shapeshifter. 8Dv He could change EVERYTHING. ...and I mean EVERYTHING. So that was a valid enough reason to pop out a kid 8Db haahah~~ :DDDD It was a serious fic, oh yes, but I think that's mostly the only serious one with a valid enough reason~

Well, that makes sense. I had one like that. >_> It was about these two supermodels but one of them was also a smart-ass genius scientist, and he was like to his uke, "GIVE ME YOUR SPERM. AND I WILL IMPLANT THE DNA IN AN EGG SO WE CAN HAVE CHILDRUNZ?"

So it wouldn't be mpreg really since a surrogate mother would be carrying the kid(s), but it would be their children. Also, it would totally not work because something like 25% of the children would be DED since it'd have two Y chromosomes, and um, sperm are so tiny compared to eggs it would be really difficult to extract the DNA and put it into an egg. Plus probably a lot of other complications. D:

.......obviously, I'm a science nerd, can you tell? *bows head in shame* Sad thing is I know they can do this from egg to egg. XDD

That's actually the most plausible explanation I can come up with for "mpreg" actually. I mean, it's totally like ridiculous and people would be like WTF R U DOIN W/ NATURE?!?! but who knows? One day...

....also, rereading what I said, I realized that supermodels have like nothing to do with it. IT JUST FELT LIKE IT WAS IMPORTANT IN MY DREAM.
